Night falls earlier and the trees are changing….but Jacaranda is still the warm lovely oasis in the middle of town…so come and enjoy another wonderful evening of Jazz this Sunday from 6-8pm. The line up at tomorrows Jazz at Jacaranda will include the National Youth Brass Band playing their jazz selection before going to compete in Atlanta next week!    Seats are always limited, so don’t be late!   Starts at 6pm promptly. $10 cover charge and a cash wine bar.

The Jazz at Jacaranda on Aug.2nd will be entirely for the benefit of two talented Bahamian vocalists , regulars at Jazz at Jacaranda,  Osano and Anushka, who are going to college  in the US.  Osano Neely will be heading for Berkelee in Boston. Please come and support them!

2013 is certainly the year of the Great Gatsby and Jacaranda House is the perfect setting for such a party, with  all the elegance and glamour of the day!   This enduring novel by F.Scott Fitzgerald, considered one of America’s best writers, is now a  new Warner Bros movie staring Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan and Joel Edgerton .  Will it beat the classic 1974 film  with Mia Farrow as Daisy and Robert Redford as Gatsy?   That’s not all…there are ballets and international theatre productions! 

      Get your  chic flapper outfits ready….some photos to inspire you will appear soon on this website! Men will look extremely cool in white dinner jackets!
